Exquisite French Art Nouveau Cabinet / Display cabinet by famous French architect / designer Henri Sauvage 1900.
A very large impressive cabinet that makes such a statement! Amazing attention to detail for example the Art Nouveau Design of the brass hinges & door handle that continues into the oak door frame itself creating an amazing harmony between the brass & wood design.
The cabinet is fully made out of European oak with many hand carved details , the cabinets top is just a marvelous crown to finish this gorgeous design. The impressive top edges are carved open with superb organic curves. This is a very large and impressive cabinet to stand before and looking up at the impressive top and all its minor details really makes you appreciate this work of art.
Henri Sauvage is famous for his work at the house of Louis Majorelle. The cabinet has 1 large glass door & the interior has 3 adjustable solid oak shelves. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
