A terrific French writing desk with a gilt embossed leather top, bronze mounts and dovetail drawers. This rectangular-shaped writing table top is set with a single piece of fine, gilt embossed leather, a bronze frame surround and imposing bronze corner mounts of leafy scrolls descending down the cabriole legs and capping the feet. The table has three drawers and bronze frames delineating the drawer fronts and curvaceous side and back panels. The drawers having foliate-shaped keyhole escutcheons
