With ornate details and well-balanced symmetry, this hand-knotted wool vintage Persian Kerman rug is poised to impress. The Khatamkari style embellishments alone are sufficiently mesmerizing, but the use of color is extraordinary. Taking center stage is an eight-point star medallion anchored with a smaller star pendant at either end. The incrustation pattern and polychromatic brilliancy woven into this vintage Persian rug work together creating a beautiful juxtaposition between the concentric geometric design. Six-point stars, hexagons, floral roundels, and fretwork bands frame the composition, pulling together colors from throughout into a unified, harmonious design.
