- The piece has minor defects that age would make you expect so natural process of aging , you will find … moreThe piece has minor defects that age would make you expect so natural process of aging , you will find some slight fading , some minor traces of wears in velvet and metallic embroideries , oxidation in gold and silver that contribute to give to the piece its patina , one tear at top over surrounding trim that won t be visible as the piece would be hanging from the gold border trim see 2 last pictures , the backing in silk is damage , not visible and is easily changeable if desire but not a necessity as you won t see it hanging anyway other than that no restauration is needed , please refer to picture for details , coloring and condition so we can consider this piece view the age in an exceptional good antique condition. for shipping the piece can be folded . colors on velvet is always very difficult to take in picture so is the silver metallic embroideries as it change depending light due to the shine of the material that explain the variation you might notice in the pictures but the first is what you will see on the piece less
