Crafted from solid wood—likely mahogany—it features finely executed, hand-carved detailing characteristic of the Eastlake style.

The chair retains its original brass casters on the front legs, a wonderful period detail. The upholstery is in good vintage condition, showing light, age-appropriate wear consistent with its history.
