Artisan-made from 100 year-old, solid, salvaged Long-leaf Pine rough beams from San Antonio, TX mounted to a welded and rust-patinated steel base for forever durability and ultimate sturdiness.
This Modern Organic Post and Lintel Bench is a classic that will weather gracefully inside or, sheltered, outside. Perfect for bench for dining, bed, entry -- or as a coffee table -- in your Modern Organic, Coastal, Minimalist, or Brutalist-styled lair.
The piece measures outside dimensions are 48"W x 19"D x 16"H. Inner area measures 15.5"x40".
The 'true' 2"x4" beams are 'rough.' They have been lightly finished with a liming-white, enhancing the grain, then sealed with a flat urethane-acrylic safeguarding against splinters yet maintaining the sensual, natural feel of the sensually nubby texture. The metal base is finished with burned-in organic beeswax.
