This Artwork "Woman with Guitar and Pianist" c.1990 is a color serigraph, with extensive acrylic paint on canvas. It is signed at the lower right corner in gold paint by the artist. It is numbered 188/240 in felt pen in the back. The canvas size is 36 x 24 inches, framed is 44.5 x 32.5 inches. Framed in a gold frame, with black and gold liner. It is in excellent condition, the gold filet on the liner has 2 minor restorations, barely visible.
About the artist:
Sonia Del Signore was born in 1938 in the medieval picturesque town of Annecy, France. She was raised in Italy between the beautiful mountains and the beaches of Abruzzo until, at the age of 13, she and her family moved to Montreal, where she lives since 1978 to this day. As a little girl in Italy, she painted in the studio of her famous father, artist Littorio Del Signore, experimenting in different media and gaining experience under his watchful eye. This was a formative period in her life, and, though it was playful at the time, she was developing a passion that would not blossom until much later. Her life path led her to study Fine Arts and later Fashion Design at LaSalle College. After graduation, she embarked upon a 13-year career in Fashion Design but, in 1999, realizing that time waits for no one, she decided to dedicate her life to pursuing her deepest passion: painting. Sonia's style is very personal. It is inspired by modern art (particularly Fauvism) and, although figurative, her work embraces many of the fundamental elements of abstraction. It is imbued with vivid and exotic colors, and her figures are striking in their sensual expressions. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
