There are as many hat styles as head shapes! This marotte of the 30s comes from the workshop of a hatmaker. The hat form is made of solid wood. Very old, it has a superb patina and a sublime sheen. It dates from the 30's and was surely used to form the bell hats. The wood is healthy and shiny. Some inscriptions are visible on the back.
