It features a thick quarter-round rim surmounting thick gadrooning. With a unique wedge shape, and a drainage hole in the bottom, this piece would make for a wonderful powder room sink or outdoor fountain element. It was carved from the local limestone near Apt, and retains it’s natural patina of aged cream, and ochre.
