About The Poster: As the Huffington Post recently wrote about William Wegman "There are people who own dogs and love dogs. And then there are those dog people—the ones who go a little overboard." (Huffington Post, 2011)
You might think Wegman, who has made dogs (particularly Weimeraners) the subject of his life's work in photographs, videos and painting is one of those people, but he claims not. "A painter and an early pioneer of video art, Wegman went on to explore commercial photography and ended up something of a celebrity, with his Weimaraners in duffel jackets and roller skates appearing everywhere from wall calendars to Sesame Street... "
