It is … Read more This is an absolutely beautiful example of an early native American Santa Clara pot attributed to Serafina Tafoya. It is most definitely an older piece from the early 20th century. It is a fired, black, pottery vase, olla form pot, with three bear paws to sides. It measures 9 1/2 inches tall by 10 inches wide. Sara Fina was the teacher to the famous Maria. Her daughter was Margaret Tafoya, who carried the tradition of this form on in her lifetime. See less
