Circa 1810 very important Gilt/ Gold Bronze Figural Bronze by a very famous artisan. I had all of the pertinent documents about this pieces and they were very impressive, when I left my former job I did not take the literature on this piece. I cannot remember the details. Angel/ cherub on top, detailed, stunning opening foliage below, Sensational arms for the candle cups but the arms are adorned with a large serpant wrapped around the arm and the candle cup is rising out of the serpents mouth, this is all being held up by what appears to by palm sheafe and blooming foliage. The bottom has blooming foliage on a solid base. This piece weighs a lot, at least 50 pounds. See less
