This pair of armchairs from France have upholstered backs framing an elegantly carved and arched wooden top-rail, with softly rounded shoulders, that give a subtle winged affect, and cascade down onto arms fitted with upholstered manchette rests and terminate into volute-carved knuckles. The upholstered seats wrap down and across the front seat rail, giving a clean/streamlined appearance. The chairs are presented upon cleanly designed wood legs, with just enough of a curve to add a touch of gracefulness to them.
