Large, black ceramic plate by Toshiko Takaezu. Signed on the underside with her TT cipher. Semi glossy glaze with some puddling. There is a roughness to the glaze which we tried to show in the photos. The plate or platter measures a strong 14.5" in a slightly irregular diameter and a little over 1" high. The foot ring is unglazed. Overall spectacular condition. No found chips, cracks or crazing.
Will be shipped double boxed.
