The deep chocolate color leather has been affixed with various brass nailheads inspired by nature, such as flowers, shells, leaves, and pebbles. Two slender iron strap hinges begin on the back side and run along all facets of the top. The top opens to reveal a green fabric interior affixed with small nailheads. An iron drop handle is located on each side, allowing our 18th century Spanish leather trunk to be moved easily (this was originally designed and used as a traveling trunk). Today, this very versatile trunk can be used to store many household items, such as towels, linens, or clothes. A perfect and highly decorative storage piece for any bedroom, study, or den. See less
