Beautiful pair of Murano art glass angel candleholders made in Italy. The taller angel features a blue and gold/copper striped flowing robe while the smaller angel is clear glass with gold flecks, or aventurine, a type of glass with copper inclusions that give it a shimmering effect. Both angels have wings and circular halos that are also decorated with gold flecks and are holding small candle holders that can accommodate 1/2” taper candles. A Murano sticker is intact on the taller angel, though we believe they were purchased together. Gumps San Francisco sold these angels in the 1980s.
