This lion in braided natural rope was designed i collaboration between jorgen bloch and kay bojesen in latter part of the 1950s and it was discontinued in the catalogue after a few years. This is an example from this era. The lion is displayed, mentioned og shown in knud ellitsgaard book "eventyret om aben" ("the fairy tail of the abe) from 2003.
