This has essentially the same design as … Read more Phenomenal and very rare 1960's king sized headboard by Edward Wormley for Drexel. This has essentially the same design as Edward Wormley's headboards for Dunbar. The headboard is walnut with black vinyl padded inserts and arm rests that each fold down allowing for back cushions and armrests. The headboard has one pop out directional light on each side beneath the armrest panels. Note: One pop out light is missing, but the wiring is still there. Incredible opportunity to customize the lights. The center section lifts up which conceals the push button on/off switches for the lights. Outstanding 1960's Futurism design at its finest. This bed is in a fantastic tuxedo black and walnut wood color palette, featuring very clever lights and electronics, makes it an absolutely incredible mid century design time capsule.
