Sweet 8-piece collection of English transferware ironstone and porcelain plates. A wonderful addition to any home.
The assortment consists of:
* 5 Johnson Brothers crescent shaped dishes in white with pink, blue, and green flower accents. Mark: Green underglaze "JOHNSON BROTHERS, ENGLAND" with crown above. Believed to be from C1900. (6.3"W x 3.25"D; overall crazing).
* 3 Mason "Ascot" plates, rose and white hued with a Chinoiserie themed center floral basket surrounded by a floral and geometric border and piecrust scalloped edges. Maker's mark suggests fabrication in the 1940s or 1950s. (5.8" Dia, minor crazing and small edge chips).
