Circa … Read more This Really is an Absolutely Beautiful - Very Fine Quality Large Size Antique American Victorian Ladies Vanity Perfume Bottle. Circa Late 19th Century. The Bottle and The Stopper are Completely Hand Made - Hand Blown out of Thick Heavy Crystal with the Stopper Being Hand Cut & Faceted. The Thick - Heavy Exterior Silver Overlay Work is Hand Applied by a Master Silversmith in The "Silver Deposit" Technique with All Finely Detailed Hand Engraved Embellishments. The Original Stopper and Spout are Meticulously Matched - Hand Ground and Fitted to Create a Perfect Air Tight Seal. It is Stamped STERLING at the Lower Perimeter Area with a Small 5 Point Star to the Right. It has No Maker Mark but it Could Easily Be Attributed to the Alvin - Gorham Silver Company as They were the Major Producers of These Types of Silver Overlay Pieces. The Front of the Vase has a Fancy Hand Engraved 3 Letter Monogram. It is in Very Nice Original Condition - Displays Beautifully. It has No Cracks. It has few Tiny "Flea Bite" Chips on he Bottom of the Stopper. It has a Tiny Indentation Line at the Top Rim - See Listing Photographs. It is Lightly Tarnished.
