A finely drawn, red, five … Read more Chinese porcelain long stem dragon tianquiping, with a white glazed exterior, interior and inset base. A finely drawn, red, five clawed, imperial dragon chasing the flaming pearl of wisdom is glazed to the body of the vase, amid polychrome, stylized, Taoist flames and Buddhist symbol, shaped clouds on the neck and body. A blue and yellow band of tendrils and a band of pink fleur-de-lys, bracketed by fine red trim lines, encircles the neck below the flared and gilt lip. A band of green, splashing ocean waves ending in double red trim lines is glazed above the plain, extended foot. A blue, six character Qianlong reign mark in Zhuanshu script is glazed to the inset base. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century. See less
