These are magnificent on a fireplace mantel of on a table. These cassolettes are raised by ormolu feet below a circular marble base decorated with a snake climbing up towards the marble base. There are three ormolu supports with hooved feet, decorative acanthus leaves, centered by a decorative acorn finial. The marble body displays rams heads above the support and joined by foliage garlands. The removable lid reveals a finished interior. Sold as a pair. See less
