Vintage: C.1890's-1920's W.M.S. & Sons, Ltd., Silver plate Victorian era, hand-crafted, domed, footed, rollover-top, serving piece. Intrinsic, detailed, silversmith hand-crafted and hammered silversmith markings along the legs and it's apron, the handles,(which each offsetting, finial ends are removable for easier polishing and cleaning, as well as the parallel cross bar to handles, are the components. as well as finial ends which hold the actual dome, and rollover section intact, they are also removable for easy silver cleaning and polishing, as each removables inner dishes, separate components to the whole of the piece, whether being utilized for brunch/breakfast or lunch and dinner, for bacon/sausage and the like, as well as being able to hold eggs within a heat environment, lastly the bottom inner section is meant to retain hot water, i.e. in order for steam to billow upwards, while the dome is closed and thus retaining the heat to the food being served.within the piece. A wonderful inclusions for any dinner/lunch brunch,breakfast service or soiree, holidays and the like. Mostly the entire piece is in great condition, with the "only," wear to the middle layer of one of the removable dishes, as it has had extensive use, but not detract to the whole piece, but those type of pieces also may be available to replace, or relate, but the beauty is the entry f the piece is being utilized, has been and can be fir further generations. Unique as each and every piece of these type are. Sourced from a South Florida Estate.
