It is also unexpected that a pair of such early pieces of porcelain should survive with their respective porcelain lids in tact. These these Qing dynasty jars have come through the centuries with relatively minor condition issues. See less

- One of these Chinese covered jars is in remarkably good condition and retains it's matching lid which is also in … moreOne of these Chinese covered jars is in remarkably good condition and retains it's matching lid which is also in very good condition. The other jar has an undulating unrepaired crack that is partially visible in the photos. The lid to the cracked jar also has a crack from partway down the dome to the bottom of the lid. The crack does not affect the structural integrity of the piece. less
