Gracefully scrolled framework includes legs with acanthus plume carving and cloven hoof feet supporting the upper section scrolled in the opposite direction, and carved with lamb's heads in full relief as well as beautiful relief carving on the stretcher that connects the front to the back. The apron just under the seat is also lavished with floral and foliate carvings matching the stretcher, appearing on both sides for universal visual appeal. The luxurious silk damascene fabric is in great condition, as well!
