Here is an American carved wood gaming table or tea table with the quintessential symbol of hospitality, the pineapple, featured … Read more Here is an American carved wood gaming table or tea table with the quintessential symbol of hospitality, the pineapple, featured at the center of the base. Leaf pattern motifs adorn the table apron on three sides, as well as the four legs, all supported by brass capped paw feet with casters in the characteristic manner of the late 19th century. The tabletop is hinged and can convert from a narrow side table by opening the top and rotating it to create a larger card table supported by the base as shown in photos. A case lies beneath the top to house gaming pieces and playing cards.
