Original vintage expressionist wood block print titled "Exodus" signed titled and dated 1971 artist proof by Sylvia T Gavurin. Printed on Japan paper archival matted and framed in a contemporary gold frame. Image 8.5 x 11.5" overall framed size 13" x 17".
Sylvia T Gavurin (1911 - 2002) was a Los Angeles based artist best known for her printmaking she showed in local exhibits her work is held in several private collections. In the 1940s Sylvia Gavurin was a court stenogrepher for the military. She was assigned to record the trials at Dachau Germany. This had a profound affect on her life and was an influence in her art work.
