An exceptional large pair of Chinese Mandarin cylinder vases with flared rims. Each one with finely painted court scenes, front and back, with vibrant fish-scale Iron Red back ground. The sides with blue enameled precious, scholars objects, stylized birds medallions, and florals.
Mounted on French circular cast and pierced gilt bronze bases with stylized acanthus decoration.
Vases and Bronze mounts are unmarked.

Each vase stands 17-inches high x 5-inch diameter opening x 9.5-inch diameter gilt bronze base.
