A rare form, a raised fruit bowl, or serving platter, this example is a large size work. It's an exceptional example decorated in vibrant enameled colors. Painted with a typical vignette of an interior court scene with numerous figures with gold tracing in their hair. Completed with a continuous border of birds, flowers, butterflies and insects. Raised on a conforming pedestal base, painted with scattered chrysanthemums. Unmarked.
