It is rendered in the Classic Aesthetic Victorian Period Nautical Style. It has 3 Fish Sculpted in High Relief in on the Lid - The Center Full Figurative Fish Being the Handle with Seaweed and a Small Lavender Sea Snail Shell Background. It has Very Fine Detail in the Molded Features. It is Hand Decorated in Outstanding - Rich Traditional Majolica Color Combinations that Includes a Wonderful Turquoise Blue Interior. It is most likely American in Origin but possibly ? English. It is in Very Good Condition with No Cracks - No Chips - No Repairs. It is Some Very Light Age Glaze Crazing but That is Perfectly Normal with This Type Antique Majolica Pottery. It Displays Beautifully.
