- Well preserved vintage condition for a piece close to 85 years old! The construction is solid, there are no loose … moreWell preserved vintage condition for a piece close to 85 years old! The construction is solid, there are no loose pieces or any delamination of the interior elements. There is some metal hardware attached to the wood right below the windows in the front, perhaps part of some long-forgotten pulley system. All surfaces show wear, scratches, paint loss, patina and distress, all typical of age and use. There are two larger area of discoloration and paint loss, please review the close-up shots in the last composite photo. There is also some unidentified paint splatter around the hand painted letters and front left window. As we place some of our items with film and television period productions (who value authentic patina, distress and age) we have left this wood model in the original, as-found condition. This piece could use a thorough cleaning if it's to be displayed in the home. Please review all the detailed photos as we have made an effort to show all the imperfections. less
