pair of french louis xv style walnut bedside tables from the early 20th century. This pair of french 'tables de chevet' were created in the early 20th century, at a time when the country revisited the rococo style that marked the reign of king louis xv as a means of reviving national pride and heritage. Each of these exquisite side tables features a meandering tray top framed by a three-quarter gallery. The tables are adorned with a slim dovetail drawer. Raised on four cabriolet legs, tall and slender, typical of the louis xv period. The set is delicate and elegant, with beautiful waxed lines that will add a touch of sophistication to any room, especially a bedroom where they can be used to anchor a bed. See less
