Early American Antique Hand Carved Wooden Gliding Rocking Horse. This piece features a hand carved horse and base, cast iron hardware, leather straps, and fabric saddle. All components are original. The horse has its original mane and tail. Fully functional. Whitney Reed manufactured these rocking horses from 1870 - 1920. This particular one is circa 1880s.
