Beautiful, and very large vintage Murano hand blown light blue, black and copper aventurine flecks filigrana ribbons Italian art glass flower vase. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, in the "Half Filigree" design. The vase is featured in black and white photographs in their book (see photo). It is on page 175, model number 6038, circa 1954. The has an alternating pattern, with 4 blue stripes and 4 black stripes colors divided by clear glass and lines of copper aventurine flecks. The vase also has a gathered foot below the wide body. Would make a great display piece on any coffee / console table, vanity or centerpiece in a dinning room. Mid-century era. Measures: 14 1/2" tall x 6 3/4" wide.
