Mid 20th Century “Lalique-Style” Glass Dessert Fruit Bowls With Frosted Reticulated Rims - Set of 8.
This is a beautiful set of bowls in excellent condition. No significant imperfections such as chips or cracks. There are a very few minor scratches as a result of age-related normal use.
The Design reminds one of classic Lalique. While the Bowls do not have a Maker’s Mark, they do have a French inspired Art Nouveau or Art Deco design.
The Bowls were found in the Washington, DC Estate of a French Antiques Dealer over 12 years ago.
Each Bowl measures 6” Width x 3” Tall. The bottom rim measures 1 7/8” Width.
Each Bowl weighs approximately 10.30 ounces or 290 grams. The Set in total weighs 5 pounds 3.2 ounces or 83.21 ounces or 2359 grams.
