These pieces are two original advertising posters belonging to the Permanent Exhibition in the French town of Saint Paul de Vence, located in the Provence area. The creation of the posters promoting these events was always in the hands of the artist Giusseppe Fryda, whose posters always respond to the same scheme and theme. With simple scenes and few characters, we see how they are mainly starred by jesters or clowns. In this case, the posters correspond to the 1972 and 1973 editions, and their carnivalesque character maintains G. Fryda's own line. In the first of the posters, the dates place us between August 23 and October 31; while, in the other case, the Saint Paul de Vence Exhibition is announced between April and December of the following year.
