This beautiful and elaborate bronze okimono has a very well modeled and cast mouse sitting atop a daikon raddish with elaborate foliage. The bronze has a lid that lifts off with the mouse on it and was probably a censer or perfumier. The base of the bronze is signed. This bronze was found in an estate and has a repair to the mouse where the tail was broken and the mouse was re-attached with a screw. The foliage on the raddish is also slightly loose and needs to be tightened.

Condition: There is a break to the tail of the mouse that was partially repaired and re-broke and the mouse was also screwed into the lid. The foliage on the radish is a little loose and the screw needs tightening.
