This rare pink Vaseline glass teacup set was made by the Diamond Glassware Co. and they produced it circa 1924. This set is pressed glass that was pressed in a mould in the style of the Empress pattern that was made by the Heisey Glass Co. the Diamond Glassware Co. even ground the bottom of these pieces like Heisey did which was done to each piece individually by hand. This set was made in a lovely pink selenium glass that for some reason contains a small amount of Uranium which is why the set glows a bright pink and green under the black light which makes this set a very rare one to find. The glow is much more impressive in person than in the photos it is quite hard to capture the true color. These teacups are 4 1/2" wide with the handle by 2 1/4" tall, the saucers are 5 5/8" wide by 5/8" tall, and this set is in "Excellent Condition" with no major chips, no cracks, no repairs, and slight wear to the set for the age of it only minor fleabites to the bottoms.
