The body of the vase has two large gilt lined cartouches with finely drawn Chinese figures in black and gold within a garden landscape with gilt gongshi, various plants, and a mountain view front and back, which design continues on the neck in two smaller gilt lined cartouches. The sides of the vases have two large gilt floral medallions on the body amid a lattice of intertwining gold vines that continues up the neck and bands the foot. A gold six character Xuande reign mark is drawn on both inset bases. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century. Fine vintage condition. See less
