The twin top hinged lid flaps with border satinwood cross banding each corner with fan detail decoration, opening to reveal a glazed plain velvet lined interior, above a single drawer with four polished brass drop handles, supported on four plain tapering square legs.

Condition: Good allover condition for such an early piece. Few old inlay repairs. Wonderful rich satinwood figuring and colour.
