Outstanding original color. Pencil signed and titled below the image. Print shows a toning box from original matte. It has been taped at the corners of this matte and is ready to easily be removed for archival framing or leaving as it is. White wood frame shows some nicks but is complimentary and ready to hang. Frame measures 16 3/4 x 18 1/2 inches.

This is really one of the rare works of whitehead as I cannot find another copy of this print. For those not familiar with whitehead his biography reads: "buell whitehead grew up in the florida backwoods. He became a nationally recognized stone lithographer during and after wwii. His years in california included the golden era of hollywood where he quickly became a big hit. Traveling and selling his art from coast to coast with his unique style of color lithography, he is recognized as a california and florida regional artist." See less
