Decorative Japanese glazed Shigaraki storage jug.
This handmade masterpiece is the perfect embodiment of the wabi sabi aesthetic.
The jug has a dent on one side created during the firing process. This imperfection makes this stock jug pure and unique and shows that it is an artefact of Japanese folk art (Mingei, 民芸).
