Very charming framing- a pair of original copperplate engravings, featuring two major architectural landmarks of Rome, the engravings after designs by two eminent artists of the late 18th century: Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778) and Giovanni Battista Cipriani (1766–1839) with hand coloring in good blue gray painted and gilded frames with cream silk matting and decorative rings at the top. These prints originally come from a collection of 25 fine engraved views by various artists, published ca. 1800.
