On the front and back of the body of the vase there are duplicate, opposing, red, five clawed, sky dragons flanking a trio of stylized rocks amid swirling clouds, red flames, Fu bats, red double happiness and Buddhist Treasure symbols, all above a band of dark green and white ocean wave lappets at the foot. The decoration of the neck repeats that on the body of the vase, around a band of ocean waves above the ornate Buddhist symbols flanking the neck. Red, tong zhi nian zhi, reign marks are glazed to the inset bases. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century. See less
