Beth Van Hoesen (1926 – 2010) American.
Best known for her prints and drawings of animals and botanical subjects, this whimsical poster was created in 1982 - exhibition dates September 15 - October 16, 1982 - John Berggruen Gallery. The artwork is titled SUFFOLK SHEEP depicting a sheep with ear tag number 84. The colors are crisp and fresh.
Van Hoesen created many extraordinary pieces, and this particular one is quite famous as it is featured in the Beth Van Hoesen 2011 calendar.
