Standing about 5 3/4 inches tall (of course you can straighten out the supporting rod and make the plane fly higher). The overall length of the plane, including its needle-like probe, is a good ten and a half inches. The wingspan is six inches. The base measures four 1/4 nches in diameter.

As mentioned, solid bronze. Very heavy! The patina is in very good condition, with a few small green spots from oxidation. This will get a going over with the world's finest paste wax, which will mitigate the green spots, and give the finish a nice luster. I couldn't do this before taking the photos, but consider it done.

No markings on the base as to the manufacturer; just acquired in France.

A superb design, with the zigzag support accentuating the sleek appearance of the plane and further emphasizing its speed. The stepped base further promotes these aspects.
