Rare solid wood desk dating from the early 1700s, fine French manufacture.
The bureau is very imposing and majestic and that is what makes its elegance.
The shape is rectangular, the base consists of the two side compartments, suitable for holding all the relevant documents. Both have the access of a key, made of brass, beautiful. The wood is worked and embellished, simply elegant. Each compartment has four black spherical feet for support.
The real writing surface is made by a door that can be opened and closed on the surface itself. You can see the top and higher still stand 4 beautiful secret compartments, represented by 4 small drawers with handles.
This writing desk is suitable for high-class studies or elegant study areas.
