Firewater is an American indie folk band formed in New York in 1995. A self-described "world punk" band, Firewater incorporate many diverse elements of world music with punk rock rhythms, including cabaret, ska jazz, folk, and most notably Eastern European influences such as klezmer and gypsy music, which has led to their inclusion int he gypsy punk genre.

El Jefe - whose real name is Jeffrey Everett - is a successful designer, illustrator, and author working out of Washington, DC. The subject matter of most of his posters centers around music, and while they fit right in to rock clubs and concert venues, his work can also be found inked into brave people’s skin and framed in high-end galleries around the world (including ours!).
