Louis XV slope desk enriched with marquetry on Darrier Poirier.
This vintage furniture has a slaughter, the periphery of which is plated in frieze, and underlined by a burst in chipped bronze. In the center, a composition in inlays of light and tinted wood represents flowers and foliage as well as a bird and a butterfly. This opening, with two brass hinges in the shape of a tail-d´Aronde, has an original functional lock and its adjusted key, as well as a bronze input.
The interior offers three identical drawers firing by a wood button, and a tablet, sliding using a brass tab, giving access to a storage space.
There is also a writing part of which is around the tab. It is dark with black lamb leather decorated with cold, golden vignettes and a central pattern.
The top of this office, topped with an openwork and scalloped bronze gallery, is marked in the same spirit as the sides.
This furniture rests on four curved feet, which are decorated with falls continuing in brass rods and dying on hooves.
The back of this property is in mahogany, allowing it to be positioned in the middle of the room.
Graceful and meticulously opened, this elegant piece of furniture will appeal by its ornaments and the beauty of its essence.
