Documented to designer Antonio … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso rich red-orange and glowing yellow Italian art glass flower vase. Documented to designer Antonio da Ros for the Cenedese company. It still retains an original silver and blue "Murano Glass - Made In Italy" label used for Cenedese pieces. The vase has an oval shape to the body, with a rounded flared rim at the top. Created with a Uranium - UV reactive glass layer. The piece glows a bight neon green under a black light. If you tilt it on its side, the vase actually leans and could be used to display a cascade of flowers pouring from it (see photo). I have not seen many vases that you can do that with. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or table. Mid-century era. Mid-century era. Measures 6 1/8" tall x 5 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide.
